Where every dollar goes

Newburgh Votes is a program of Every Ballot, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New York State. Every dollar you give goes to nonpartisan voter education and get-out-the-vote work in Newburgh and Orange County:

  • Printed materials — sample-ballot cards, voter info palm cards, polling place flyers.
  • Yard signs — generic GOTV signs ("Vote Nov 3 · newburghvotes.org"), no candidates.
  • Community-event booths — tents, tables, signage, materials for handouts at farmers markets, festivals, and neighborhood events between now and November.
  • Volunteer support — printing, water, snacks for the people who staff booths and table at events.

We never spend on candidate endorsements, party support, or political advertising. We never give donor lists to any party or campaign. This is voter information, built and maintained by neighbors, full stop.

Why monthly matters

Recurring gifts let us plan ahead. A booth costs the same whether one person funds it or twelve people split it — but knowing the money's coming in monthly is what lets us commit to a tent rental three months out, or print a thousand palm cards for the September push. If you can swing $5 a month, that's how we get to scale.
